Tinyhaul Privacy Policy

Effective July 2, 2026

Overview

Tinyhaul operates without user accounts and without any server that receives your data. All information you enter — including your collection, photos, notes, and preferences — is stored on your own device and, on iOS, backed up to your personal iCloud account. We do not collect this information, cannot access it, and do not track you. The Application contains no analytics software development kits (SDKs) and no advertising SDKs.

1. Information We Collect

We collect no information. Tinyhaul never transmits your collection, photos, or anything else you enter to us; there is no account creation, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no cross-application or cross-website tracking. This is consistent with the Application's published privacy manifest, which declares no data collection and no tracking.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The figures you add, along with their associated photos and notes, your selected theme, and your display name, are stored locally using your browser's or device's local storage, and, in the case of photos on iOS and Android, the device filesystem. Apart from the iCloud backup described in Section 3, this information does not leave your device of its own accord. If you lose this information without a backup — for example by uninstalling the Application or clearing your browser data — we retain no copy and have no means of recovering it.

3. iCloud Backup (iOS)

On iOS, the Application automatically backs up your collection data and photos to a private container in your personal iCloud account, so that you can restore them if you lose or replace your device. This transfer occurs directly between your device and Apple's iCloud service, using your own Apple account; we operate no server in this process, cannot access your iCloud container, and receive nothing. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. Backups count toward your personal iCloud storage allowance.

You can prevent iCloud backups by turning off iCloud Drive for Tinyhaul in your device's iCloud settings, and you can review or delete the stored backup itself under Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage on your device.

4. Catalog Updates

To keep its figure catalog current between app releases, the Application periodically downloads a read-only catalog file (series and character names) from our website, which is hosted by Cloudflare. This request contains no account identifier, no collection data, and nothing you have entered — like any web request, it necessarily exposes your device's IP address to the hosting provider in order to deliver the file. Nothing about you or your collection travels in the other direction.

5. Camera and Photo Library Access

If you elect to attach a photo to a figure, the Application will request access to your camera or photo library. Any photo provided is resized and stored locally on your device (and included in your iCloud backup on iOS). It is never uploaded to us, as there is no destination of ours to which it could be sent.

6. Information You Choose to Share

Certain features allow you to voluntarily transmit information from your device. In each case, this occurs directly from your device through a channel of your choosing, and never through any server operated by us, as we operate none:

7. Third Parties

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The Application does rely on standard platform services necessary for its basic operation — for example, your browser's local storage, Apple's iCloud service for backups on iOS, Cloudflare, which hosts our website and serves the Application's read-only figure catalog, and the application store infrastructure provided by Apple or Google to distribute the Application. These platforms maintain their own privacy practices, which are outside our control and governed by their respective policies rather than this one.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

As all information resides on your device or in your personal iCloud account, you retain complete control over its deletion. Uninstalling the Application, clearing your browser's site data, or deleting individual figures will remove the relevant information immediately and permanently on your device. On iOS, uninstalling the Application does not delete the iCloud backup; you can remove it at any time via Manage Account Storage in your device's iCloud settings. We hold no copy to delete on our part.

9. Children's Privacy

Because we collect no personal information from any user, we likewise do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please refer to the Terms of Use for the Application's age guidance.

10. Changes to This Policy

Should the Application's handling of data change, we will update this Privacy Policy and its in-application equivalent, and revise the effective date accordingly.
